R80 Tank Inspection Robot

The multifunctional R80 inspection robot measures pit corrosion and detects flaws. The robot features an HD camera and fits a 4” tank entry. Pit corrosion is ultrasonically or mechanically measured while visually inspecting the tank with the camera and high-power LED lighting. User-friendly software makes the R80 easy to operate and projects the measured data straight into the camera’s live view. The software allows you to record these videos and to attach an inspection report.

The R80’s multifunctional design prepares the robot for various functions besides measuring pit corrosion, such as: high-power water cleaning. The water hydraulic drivetrain is continuously adjustable and has more than sufficient power for driving up walls and along ceilings with magnetic wheels, even in coated tanks. ATEX certification is optional for working in explosive environments such as petrochemical tanks.
